Evelina Pituch is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Health & Society at the University of Toronto Scarborough, supervised by Dr. Hilary Brown. Dr. Pituch’s community-engaged program of research aims to improve the perinatal and parental supports for parents with disabilities throughout the lifespan. With Dr. Brown, she led data collection on the first qualitative study looking at accessibility in pediatric settings for mothers with disabilities in Ontario. She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences and a bachelor’s-professional master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Montreal. Evelina is funded by a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship.
