Lauren Tailor

PhD Student

Lauren Tailor is a PhD Candidate in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health. She is also a licensed pharmacist and Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from the University of Waterloo, and earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology with a Global Health specialization from DLSPH in 2022. Co-supervised by Drs. Sonia Grandi and Hilary Brown, Lauren’s thesis focuses on perinatal pharmacoepidemiology, examining the effect of prenatal antidepressant exposure on maternal and offspring cardiometabolic outcomes using Danish registries and target trial emulation methods. Combining her training in pharmacy and epidemiology, she is deeply committed to advancing pharmacoepidemiology, with particular interests in women’s and pediatric health. Lauren holds a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship.
