Hyejun Kim is a PhD student in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, supervised by Dr. Hilary Brown. She completed her undergraduate training in Health sciences and holds master’s degrees in Human Kinetics and Epidemiology. Her research interests include the intersection of chronic health conditions, sex, and health equity. Her doctoral research focuses on women with chronic diseases, including autoimmune diseases and mental health disorders, and examines how these conditions influence maternal and neonatal health outcomes using epidemiologic methods.
