Jannah Wigle is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Health & Society at the University of Toronto Scarborough, supervised by Dr. Hilary Brown. Dr. Wigle is a critical qualitative health researcher. Her program of research uses feminist, qualitative, and arts-based approaches to understand the lived experiences of sexual and reproductive health and care in Canada, and beyond. Currently, she is leading the qualitative component of a CIHR-funded mixed methods study on the experiences of perinatal care among people with multiple chronic health conditions, and is using body-map storytelling to advance perinatal care among individuals with chronic health conditions. She holds a PhD in Social and Behavioural Health Sciences from Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, an MSc in Health, Population and Society from the London School of Economics, and a BHSc from Western University. Jannah is funded by a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship.
