Meredith Evans

Postdoctoral Fellow

Meredith Evans is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Health & Society at the University of Toronto Scarborough, supervised by Dr. Hilary Brown. Meredith is a medical anthropologist and interdisciplinary health researcher. Her program of research focuses on practices and experiences of care. Currently, she is leading the qualitative arm of a CIHR-funded mixed-methods research project about disability and access to reproductive health services in Canada during the COVID-19 pandemic. She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from York University, an MA in Gender Studies from Central European University, and a BMus from Dalhousie University. Meredith is funded by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship.
