The United Nations has documented the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sexual, reproductive, maternal, and child health (SRMCH) due to diversion of resources away from SRMCH services. Such impacts have been felt more acutely in structurally marginalized groups including racialized, low socioeconomic status, and rural/remote communities. However, the SRMCH experiences of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic have received little attention. We are using a national survey and in-depth interviews with women and gender-diverse people with disabilities across Canada to examine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on SRMCH across the life course. This research will inform inclusive SRMCH services system as we look toward COVID-19 recovery and in future public health emergencies.
